Dingell Medical Center is seeking request for quotes to provide pre-survey consultation to assist in preparation for JCAHO survey. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item, prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Preparation for JCAHO accreditation requires careful development of key source documents including bylaws, organization plans, human resources, safety and environment, quality improvement, clinical records and policy/procedure manuals. Findings and recommendations from the mock survey will provide the medical center with a basis for preparation for the survey. Contractor shall evaluate compliance with designated functions of the AMH, BHC, LTC and HBHC standards. Contractor shall provide clarification and interpretation of standards and survey procedures. Contractor shall provide direction on development and organization or pre-survey tasks and activities. Contractor shall utilize data and experience from other organizations as prototypes or models for final development of key source documents by the medical center.
