This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The only approved source for this solicitation is Rolls-Royce Allison FSCM: 63005. Solicitation F41608-99-Q-Z5563 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Contract line item 0001 is for 3 EA of Case and Vane Assemblies (NSN 2840-00-225-0953, P/N 6847349). Size/Dimensions:24" x 14" x 6"; Form/Fit/Function Description: The sturctual of the turbine inlet casing are as follows: six hollow, supporting radial struts interconnect the outer and the inner shells. The outer shell mount to the outer comubustion casing, and the inner shell mounts to the combustion inner casing and inner casing liner. Six first stage vane assemblies, contained within the turine inlet casing, provide the stator for the first stage of the turbine. Predominant Material of Manufacture:steel Materiel is to be delivered to NAVICP-P CODE 0141, N68836, Jacksonville, FL 32212 as follows: 3 EA -- 31 Dec 99. Acceptance and FOB are at origin. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items also applies to this acquisition. Qualifications requirements are in accordance with Commercial procedures.
