The FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire on a 100% Competitive 8(a) Small Business Set-Aside Competitive, Mess Attendant Services for the Naval Submarine Base NLON, Groton, CT. Services shall include, but are not limited to, cleaning of floors, walls, ceilings, windows, and furniture. Operation of the dishwashing rooms during meal periods. Transporting and/or cleaning of all utensils, garbage cans. Transporting clean equipment, utensils,dishes, silver and trays to point of use or storage. Staffing of serving lines during meal periods. Preparation of all raw food materials in a "ready-to-cook" "ready -to-serve" form in the Vegetable Preparation Room. Preparation and replenishment of beverages. Policing of dining areas during meal periods to ensure cleanliness and availability of tables. Bussing of tables in all dining areas. Services will commence 1 October 1999 and continue through 30 September 2000, with Two (2) one-year option periods. A firm fixed price type contract is contemplated.
