The contractor shall furnish all plants, labor, equipment, appliances, and materials necessary to perform repair and upgrade of sewer lift stations. The project shall include, but is not limited to, removal and replacement of sewer lift station pumps, cleaning of wet wells, providing of new sewer lift station, installation of underground piping, and providing level switches, controls, and radio signaling equipment. Environmental requirements may require the removal of contaminated soil (to include testing). The site of work contemplated under this project is located on Hickam AFB in the state of Hawaii. The total performance period for the contract will be 420 calendar days. This project is 100% set aside for small business concerns registered for construction (SIC 1623). The estimated cost of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The solicitation will be issued on or about 02 Aug 99.
