Paulina Falls Overlook, Solicitation R6-1-9-120. Project work is within
a currect recreation day use area and includes construction of
approximately 392 linear feet of masonry walls; approximately 16
pillars; and placement of approximately 2,751 linear feet of
contractor-furnished facia rock. Project further includes removal of
approximately 350 linear feet of existing chain link fence,
approximately 150 linear feet of existing guardrails and posts; removal
of existing culverts, removal of approximately 22 designated trees and
removal of a park bench with slab from the site. Project further
includes excavation and backfill of approximately 187 cubic yards for
the wall and trail system. Project further includes installation of
approximately 14 parking bumpers; furnish and installation of
approximately 14 linear feet of corrugated pipe; furnish and
installation of approximately 250 linear feet of power coated handrail
and appoximately 150 linear feet of corten steel guardrail; furnish
and installation ofapproximately 11 treated log rails; and furnish and
installation of a park bench slab. Project further includes parking
lot striping, trail obliteration, and placement of approximately 66
cubic yards of reject aggregate. Approximate start date is September
15, 1999 and contract completion date is approximately August 01, 2000.
