negotiate only with FLIR Systems, Inc., N. Bilerica, MA, for one
ThermaCAM SC1000 High Performance Thermal Imaging and Measuring System,
one 32 Degree FOV Lens, and one External PCMCIA Card. Equipment must be
compatible with existing FLIR hardware and software used to support
NASA's Predictive Testing and Inspection (PT&I) Program. The Government
intends to acquire commercial items using FAR Part 12. Interested firms
have 15 days from publication on the NAIS to submit a proposal for
their products' consideration. Proposals will be used solely for the
purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a
competitive basis. The proposal must include qualifications, pricing,
business size, invoice terms, and GSA contract number, if applicable.
Responses received after 15 days or without required information will
be considered nonresponsive to the synopsis and will not be
considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this
proposed order on a full and open competitive basis, based upon
responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the
Government. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be
