Wisconsin Physicians Service Insurance Corporation, the Medicare Part B carrier for Wisconsin, Illinois, and Michigan, intends to issue a Request for Proposal for the lease or purchase of Call Center Technology. This RFP will encompass all aspects of call center technology, including hardware, software, installation, and service maintenance/warranty. The Call Center Technology will provide unified service to all our Medicare facilities serving our Wisconsin, Illinois, and Michigan Medicare operations. There is the possibility for expansion of this technology into our other government and private lines of business. The goal of the RFP is to select a qualified vendor who can supply a complete, integrated solution to the RFP specifications and requirements on a turnkey basis. WPS invites interested parties to download the RFP from our Web site at www.wpsic.com/medicare on or about August 12, 1999. In addition, WPS will hold a bidder's conference on August 18, 1999.
