The US EPA has a fleet of vehicles that it leases through the General Services Administration. Beginning in FY-2000, EPA will be leasing its own vehicles to fulfill its fleet requirements and will primarily lease Alternative Fuel Vehicles (AFV), i.e., electric vehicles, compressed gas vehicles, methane fueled vehicles, etc. The Agency will compete Blanket Purchase Agreements with leasing options of 6-months, 1 year, 2 years, and 3 years.
