lemanski@ecr.gov. The US Institute for Environmental Conflict
Resolution ("Institute") desires to create an interactive web site and
database to be used as a national roster of dispute resolution and
consensus building professionals. I. Project Overview The purpose of
this web site is to help federal agencies, businesses, interest groups,
and private individuals locate environmental dispute resolution and
consensus building professionals. The Institute will supply some of the
graphics and text for the front end of the web site. The Institute
envisions that the web site will be designed so that it can be easily
maintained and modified remotely. The web site will have three main
sections consisting of an application to be downloaded, Roster Member
page and the Roster itself. A. Roster Application -- Anyone wishing to
be on the roster can fill out the application on line or download the
application and fill it out on a web browser and then upload the
application back to the Institute. Once the application has been
approved, the relevant information would be imported into the roster
database. B. Roster Members -- Using a user name and password, an
approved applicant will be able to log onto a secure area to make
changes to their record. These changes would be things like change of
address, phone, billing rate, or case information. Roster members may
also be able to get other information from this page such as statistics
regarding how many times their name was given out or notices from the
Institute. C. Roster -- Once a user enters the roster he/she will be
able to do a search to find a professional. The searches may be simple
such as searches by name or location or more complex such as searches
based upon gender, education or work experience. Search results will
give information from the database about each professional. Posted
