U.S. Geological Survey Pacific Marine and Coastal Geology Team has a
requirement to sample reef-front sedimentary deposits off Oahu as part
of its Shelf Sands -- Hawaii project. This project requires a unique
submarine sand recovery System that has proven successful in these
difficult-to-sample sand deposits, to a depth of 10 meters beneath the
seafloor and in water depths to 60 meters. Our sampling program
requires a device that has proven capability to recover samples of
carbonate sand to a depth of at least 25 feet beneath the sea floor
under conditions such as exist of the island of Oahu, in addition to
the other specification listed above. Job requires up to 10 days of
sampling conducted between 15 August and 30 September, 1999. This
advertisement will expire on July 12, 1999. All interested responces
