Research Laboratory (NRL) has a requirement for support for the Optical
Science Division's programs to cover follow-on work with existing
projects and new program development. This effort includes the full
spectrum of software services to accomplish concept formulation,
engineering development and testing, demonstration, and validation. The
contractor shall provide software engineering and technical services.
These services shall provide the Optical Science Division with, but are
not limited to, software design, software development, hardware
recommendations, installation, and test of hardware and software,
software maintenance, and operational test support. This effort
requires senior-level software design engineer, middle-level software
coding support, and senior-level engineer for flight test and
deploymnet support. Familiarity with the P-3 and F-14 aircraft
navigation and data-control interfaces is essential. The solicitation
and any amendments to it will be available via the Internet at the URL

the RFP will not be provided. It is anticipated that a single award of
an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity type contract with
cost-plus fixed fee completion task orders will be made, but a multiple
award is a consideration. If a single award is made, the maximum order
limitation will be $600,000 and the minimum order limitation will be
$100,000. The period of performance will be two years from date of
