a design/build contract necessary to design and construct a 13,370 net
sq. foot cross dock and Business Mail Entry Unit (BMEU) expansion at
the Marina Processing and Distribution Center located at 13031 West
Jefferson Boulevard in Inglewood, CA 90311-9997, in accordance with
plans and specifications. Technical Qualifications Evaluation is based
on a 100-point total (Experience -- 40 points, Management Plan -- 30
points, Financial Capability -- 15 points, Organization -- 15 points).
Plans and specs will be available July 6, 1999. Offers are due August
12, 1999, at 4 p.m. Performance Time is 365 days from receipt of
notice to proceed. The estimated cost range is between $3,300,000 and
$3,800,000. A preproposal conference is scheduled Friday, July 23,
1999, 8:30 a.m., at the Marina Processing & Distribution Center, 13031
West Jefferson Blvd., Inglewood, California. Contractors/Offerors are

specifications and drawings is $250 per set for Priority Mail service
(2 to 3 days) and $300 per set for Express Mail service (next day). All

two/three-day Priority Mail. If you desire to have them sent via
