This sole source procurement is based on the fact that this is the only vendor in the United States that sells Weathering equipment that is approved and certified for use in test methodologies governed by Standard Testing Organizations, which we are mandated to use as a directive of Acquisition Reform. The Standard Testing Organizations are: American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC), American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM, International Society Organization (ISO).
