The Contractor shall provide all manpower, tools, equipment, transportation, and materials necessary to Install R30 foil sided fiberglass insulation to the underside of the roof of Bldg 2431. The insulation must be supported by webbing from a steel roof which is currently insulated. The total area is approximately 13,600 sq ft. Install fiberglass insulation batts on the underside of two double 1:12 pitch roofs (130 ft X 40 ft and 140 ft X 60 ft) joined at the eaves with no intervening wall. Batts must be anchored over existing R11 insulation with webbing attached to steel purlins, joists and rafters. The attic spaces exist over a suspended ceiling ofirregular shape with electrical, lighting, HVAC ducting and associated suspension anchors. Roof penetrations exist at HVAC machinery and ventillation points. All batting must be sealed for vapor exclusion. All work will be accomplished in strict accordance with the specifications, drawings, and terms and conditions of the contract. Magnitude of this project is below $25,000.00. SIC is 1742. The size standard is $7,000,000. This solicitation is open to all business concerns. The entire solicitation will be released solely on the Electronic Posting System (EPS), www.eps.gov, (paper copies will not be available). Any prospective bidders interested in bidding on this solicitation MAY register in order to be placed on the bidder list.
