THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. The work will be performed at the Captain John Rapids acclimation site, which is located on the left bank of the Snake River approximately 18 miles upstream of Asotin, Washington. The work consists of removing two existing floating intake structures from the river and replacing them with two permanent intake structures. The existing intakes are floatable pontoon arrangements with 1240 gpm submersible pumps and stainless steel slotted drum intake screens. Existing pumps, motors, and intake screens will be reused. The new intakes will be inclined, well type submerged intakes. Diving may be required for installation of the submerged portions of the system. ADMINISTRATIVE INFORMATION: The estimated cost range for this job is between $100,000 and $250,000. The standard industrial classification code (SIC) is 1629.
