U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM), Fort Monmouth, NJ is interested in starting a dialogue with contractors/activities interested in developing and providing training for performing an assessment/audit of our contrator facilities to support the AMC Contractor Performance Certification Program ((CP)2). This request is soliciting informantion only and does not represent any commitment or intent by CECOM to utilize your services in providing this training. The training will be conducted in a three phase approach, which are; (1) Basic Assessment Techniques, (2) (CP)2 Handbook familiarization and assessment techniques, and (3) Lead Assessor Techniques. Information on (CP)2 can be found at http://www.monmouth.army.mil/cecom/lrc/cp2/index.html. The handbook addressed at the web site is currently under revision by an AMC Team, but basic content will not be changed, except for the following -- removal of ISO-9000 reference and the addition of three new elements, which are; (1) Risk Management, (2) Value Engineering Principals, and (3) Single Process Initiative Principles. The training will be given on site at Fort Monmouth, with an initial class size of 24-26 individuals, will require a final examination for each segment, with final grade, certificate of accomplishment and C.E.U credits. CECOM expects an immediate need for the development and performance of this training.
