place an order against Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-98-G-0035 with
McDonnell Douglas Corporation (MDC), a wholly owned subsidiary of the
Boeing Company, P.O. Box 516, St Louis, MO 63166-0516, to provide eight
(8) kits to complete install for Crash Survivable Flight Incident
Recording System (CSFIRS) to include four follow-on buy options. MDC is
the designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the F/A-18 aircraft,
and is the only known firm possessing adequate existing knowledge,
facilities, tooling, and special test equipment to produce the CSFIRS
kits in a timely manner. This synopsis is for information purposes
