THIS NATIONAL COMPETITION IS RESTRICTED TO 8(a) VENDORS. I am seeking 8(a) vendors to compete for a BOSJOC contract. A PRESOLICITATION MEETING IS SCHEDULED FOR 0900 HOURS, 14 JULY 99 IN BLDG 2675 AT FORT McCOY. Questions are due in this office no later than 1200 hours, 13 July 99. A draft of select solicitation sections will be available on the Ft. McCoy Web page on 6 July 99 at http://www.mccoy.army.mil. Contractors competing for this solicitation are expected to attend. The standard industrial code is 8744. The BOSJOC contract is primarily a construction Job Order Contract with Facilities Support Services added. The contract period is a base and four option years. The contractor is expected to subcontract most work providing all labor, material, equipment, supervision and management necessary to accomplish Task Orders performing the following work: facility repairs, maintenance and minor construction; custodial services, grounds maintenance services, refuse removal services, snow removal services, scheduled maintenance of HVAC systems, installation and maintenance of building automation systems (BAS), surveys, and other minor facility support services. Work will be performed in support of over 200 Army Reserve Center locations, and five Forts, scattered across 8 states (MN, WI, IA, NE, IL, IN, OH, and MI). The contractor will be required to maintain a project management office at Ft. McCoy, WI and various satellite management offices in the outlying area. All Task Orders will be negotiated based on Unit Price Books. Once negotiated, Task orders become firm fixed price orders. Vendors will provide coefficient multipliers during the RFP phase for the base year. Adjustments are made for pricing the option years. The yearly contract minimum is $500,000 and the maximum is $8 million; total contract will not exceed $40 million. Performance and Payment bonds are required. This action is being done as an 8(a) national competitive procurement. Prior JOC/SABER experience is essential to compete for this contract.Phone responses will not be accepted.
