work includes, but not limited to painting entire interior of hangar
and offices/shops, including walls, roof deck, roof trusses, structural
steel, metal doors and frames, reseal joints in concrete floor and
repaint with epoxy flooring system. Remove asbestos lead paint/dust.
Install foam/water fire supression system in hangar and wet pipe
sprinkler system in office/shops, install fire curtains on roof trusses
of hangar, demo and replace the hot water heating boiler and all
controls, piping and insulation, demo and replace domestic hot water
heater and piping, demo and replace HVAC, lighting, sliding doors,
compressed air lines and outlets, heat exchanger for main hangar door
rail deicing system. Construct 2318 SF addition to house aircraft
maintenance work functions, to include shop areas, offices, restrooms,
mechanical room and utilities. All work to be performed under a single
lump sum firm fixed-price contract. The solicitation package will be
available o/a 15 Jul 99. A non-refundable charge will be required to
obtain the project documents. The performance period is 270 calendar
days after receipt of NTP. All responsible sources may submit a bid
which shall be considered as the solicitation will be issued under full
and open competition. Funds are not presently available for this
project. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation
either before or after the closing date. The estimated cost ranges
