DRAFT SOLICITATION FOR RETAIL ELECTRICITY AND ANCILLARY SERVICES FOR ILLINOIS The Defense Energy Support Center (DESC) is issuing a draft solicitation for the acquisition of retail electricity, ancillary services, and incidental services for deliveries to the following Illinois DOD and DOE facilities: Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, Argonne National Laboratory, and Rock Island Arsenal. The total estimated quantity to be purchased under this solicitation is 629,424,055 kWh. Comments on the draft are being sought from potential suppliers. DESC and DOE will conduct a Pre-Solicitation Conference on July 13, 1999 at the Argonne facility in Argonne, IL. The conference will begin at 10:00 AM Central Time. Interested parties wishing to attend the Preproposal Conference must contact DESC by July 9, 1999 to provide attendee information.
