DECA RICHMOND REGIONAL TECHNOLOGY FAIR "TURNING DATA INTO KNOWLEDGE -- THE NEW MILLENNIUM CHALLENGE" The DeCA Richmond Regional Technology Fair "Turning Data Into Knowledge -- The New Millennium Challenge" Featuring a Networking Breakfast, Seminars, Exhibits, and Government Counseling Wednesday, September 8, 1999 On Wednesday, September 8, 1999, more than 200 government and 100 corporate personnel are expected to participate in the networking opportunities event at The Officers' and Civilians' Club, on-site at Fort Lee, in Richmond, VA. Fort Lee has more than 5,900 personnel on-site and is the home of DeCA HQ/FOAS which manages the worldwide system of DoD commissaries. DeCA has more than 17,000 personnel worldwide with more than 800 personnel at Fort Lee. This event is being hosted by the Defense Commissary Agency/Acquisition Management Small Disadvantaged Business Utilization, and co-hosted by the Defense Supply Center, Richmond, and the Department of Defense Education Activity. Participants will enjoy a hearty buffet-style breakfast, enlightening speakers, and a chance to confer with representatives from local DoD and civilian agencies.
