Longbrake, Contracting Officer at 605-226-7567 S -- The Rosebud IHS Hospital, Rosebud, South Dakota, is soliciting for a Buy-Indian Act certified contractor to provide solid waste removal/disposal services for the hospital and quarters facilities. The contractor will provide refuse collection service to the 35 bed hospital and 101 Government quarters units, and disposal in authorized and approved landfill sites, all in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. The contractor will also provide a trash receptacle for each family residence under the contract, and six dumpsters for the hospital facility. A firm fixed price service contract consisting of a base year and four option years will be issued as a result of this solicitation. The estimated date of award for this solicitation is October 1, 1999 for a 12-month period ending September 30, 2000, with four one-year option periods for a total of five years. The solicitation has been set-aside for Buy Indian Act certified contractors. A full and complete description/specifications/statement of work is included in the RFP package.
