This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation No. 60181-9-Q404 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and will be awarded as a purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 5191 Farm Supplies. Small Business size is 100 employees. See Note 1. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11. Species should be native to the plains of Colorado whenever possible. If not available, then the varieties listed should be used. 2. Weights are based on dehulled pure live seed. 3. Vendor shall provide price per pound PLS for each species and extended amounts. 4. Each seed species is to be packaged separately (PREMIXED SEED WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED) 5. Seed test information shall accompany each species. Certification shall include purity, germination tests, % weed seed content, and seed lot number. 6. Furnish and deliver F.O.B. to the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge, Commerce City,Colorado. 7. Specify earliest delivery date. Seed is required no later than September 15, 1999. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, instructions to Offerers Commercial Items, and FAR Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation of Commercial Items, are applicable to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, and the clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. Evaluation of Commercial Items: The Government will award to the responsible offeror based on 1. price and 2. earliest delivery date. Multiple awards may be issued based on the results. Vendors wishing to respond to this RFQ should provide this office with the following: Price quote on letterhead for the requested items, correct remittance address, and a completed copy of FAR clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. This form may be obtained from the Contracting Officer by fax at 303/236-4791. The offeror agrees to hold the prices in the offer firm for 30 calendar days from the date specified for the receipt of offers.
