Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented, with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation (F26600-99-Q0414) is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-5. This acquisition is set-aside exclusively for small business concerns. The SIC code for this solicitation is 7515. Far 19 classifies small businesses as those that gross equal to or less than $18.5 million annually based on the average of the offeror_s past three fiscal years. The item description is as follows: Non-Personal Service to lease three (3) Commercial 4 X 4, 4 door, six (6) passenger pick-up trucks from 15 July 99 to 14 June 2000. Trucks shall have the following accessories; air-conditioning, All Season tires. The lease payment shall include all fees including; Registration Fees, Security deposit, processing fees and unlimited mileage for the life of the lease. The Government shall not pay security deposit in advance, or any other advance payments. The lessor shall provide all routine maintenance including but not limited to: tune-ups, oil changes, and tire rotation. Option years to include 15 Jul 2000 _ 14 Jun 2001, and 15 Jul 2001 _ 14 Jun 2002. Award will be made to the responsible, responsive offeror whose offer will result in the lowest price. The government will evaluate options for award purpose by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement for the total three-year period. The government may determine that an offer is unacceptable if the option prices are significantly unbalanced. Evaluation of options shall not obligate the government to exercise the options. Offerors must submit their offers by 4:00pm PST 30 June 99. Late offers will not be considered. Offers will be accepted by mail, hand carried, or faxed to 702-652-(5405 or 3367). Acceptance period for offers is 30 calendar days.
