Q -- MEDICAL SERVICES SOL RFP 618-153-99 DUE 072699 POC Janice Byrd 612-725-2188 The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), One Veterans Drive, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55417, has a requirement to contract for Mammography Services to be provided to veterans who reside in Minnesota, Western Wisconsin, North Dakota and South Dakota. Minneapolis VA currently performs about 700-1000 mammograms per year. The majority of these are screening mammograms, with about five diagnostic mammograms per week; in addition, about two-needle localizations are done on site per year and an estimated thirty-five stereotactic biopsies per year. It is preferable to award only one contract; however, it is possible that more than one contract may be awarded. It is anticipated that a three year contract will be awarded consisting of a base year and two 12-month options to renew.
