E-MAIL: Pre-Solicitation Notice, jbarnes@central.unicor.gov. UNICOR, FPI intends to enter into a Firm Fixed Price Requirements type contract for Transportation Services. The period of performance shall be for one (1) year. These services includes the transportation of mailbags to and from USP Terre Haute, IN and Memphis, TN -- Memphis International Airport Center Facility (MIAC). The Contractor will pick up at USP Terre Haute, IN (no holidays) between 7:00 and 13:00 hours. The Contractor will pick-up and deliver at the MIAC Facility (no holidays) between 7:00 and 14:00 hours. The Contractor shall provide four (4) trailers which will allow two (2) at USP Terre Haute, IN, one (1) at Memphis, TN (MIAC Facility), and one (1) on the road. The unit price shall be per round trip load with no other charges. UNICOR will not be responsible for equipment repair, fuel surcharge, or licenses. Pick-up and delivery dates may be changed or cancelled at anytime by UNICOR, USP, Terre Haute, IN. UNICOR reserves the right to cancel these transportation services at any given time. Delivery shall be FOB Destination at USP Terre Haute, IN. Delivery acceptance is two (2) days after receipt of each delivery order. The Delivery Order Minimum: 1 Trip, The Delivery Order Maximum: 20 Trips. An estimated Two Hundred and Sixty (260) Trips may be scheduled during the performance period. Directions to MIAC are as follows: The Memphis International Airport Center (MIAC) is located at 3677 MIAC Drive which is close to the Memphis, TN Airport. Take I-40 to I-240 East. Exit at Lamar/US 78-E. Proceed to Winchester Road and go right for approximately 1.5 miles. Turn right on Prescott. A large MIAC sign will be at the corner of Winchester and prescott. Take Prescott to Second Street and turn right on MIAC Drive. Offers for this solicitation shall be within a 500 mile radius of the MIAC Facility. The Contractor shall include in its offer the number of miles from their place of business to the MIAC facility. Additional information will be included in the solicitation.
