for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart
12.6, as supplemented with additional information included by

The electronic announcement constitutes the only solicitation;
proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be
issued. Offers are advised that they are responsible for obtaining

address and telephone number. The Department of Veterans Affairs, White
River Jct., VT is soliciting quotations to provide 1 FTE Nuclear
Medicine Technologist for the period July 5, 1999 through September 30,
1999. The solicitation number is 405-54-99. This solicitation is issued
as an RFQ. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and
clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11.
The acquisition is unrestricted. The standard industrial classification
(SIC) is 8099. Requirement is to provide: 1 full time Nuclear Medicine
Technologist for Monday through Friday in our Nuclear Medicine
Department. Work will be under the supervision of the Senior Nuclear
Medicine Technician. The scope of this work is directly related to the
diagnosis of disease in human beings by the application of radioactive
nuclides both in vivo (i.e. imaging, renal function evaluation, etc.)
and in vitro (i.e. radioimmunoassay of hormones and drug assays).
Individuals proposed for this work shall have completed training as a
Nuclear Medicine Technologist and be certified as a Nuclear Medicine
Technologist with the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology)
and/or the NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board).
Individuals proposed for this work shall be familiar with computer
hardware and software programs associated with nuclear medicine
technology. They shall be familiar with or have the ability of operate
the following equipment: Starcam 4000 XRT, Technicare Gamma Camera
Omega 500. Evaluation factors will be based upon those stated at
52.212-2 of the electronic document. Evaluations will be made on
Availability, Qualifications, Past Performance, Price, and Small
disadvantaged business participation. Offerors are required to submit
a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offerors Representations
and Certifications-Commercial Items with their offer. No telephone
