NAVFAC Combined Acquisition Office, Jacksonville Region, is soliciting for a Regional Facility Services Contract I in the Jacksonville Region. The services include, but are not limited to the following: Facility Maintenance, Operation and Maintenance of Utilities, Environmental, Transportation, Housing, Bachelor's Quarters, Fire Alarm, and Elevators. Base year performance is currently scheduled to commence 1 Apr 2000 and will be for a period of six months with options to extend the contract services in increments of one to 12 months not to exceed a total of 60 months from date of contract award. This will be a combination firm fixed price and indefinite quantity type contract with award fee provisions. The RFSC 1 will be solicited as a competitive negotiated acquisition using formal Source Selection procedures and award will be based on best value. This procurement is UNRESTRICTED. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 8744. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by the agency. It is anticipated proposals will be due on or about 3 Sep 1999 and should be mailed to the address stated above, Attn: Kitty Wade. The Government intends to issue this solicitation exclusively through the Internet. The RFP is anticipated to be posted on the INTERNET on or about 6 Jul 1999.
