Restricted Availability of ARDM-4 Shippingport. Major work items will include towing, blasting/painting hull and balast tanks, and repairs to deballast pumps and motors, flood valves and capstans. A drydock certified in accordance with Mil-Std 1625 is required. Vessel characteristics are Length 492 ft., Breadth 96 ft., Displacement 4850 Lt. Tons. Some of the trades required will include riggers, shipfitters, mechanics, electricians, Certified welders, NDT personnel, painters/blasters and Gas Free Engineers. Maintenance of Inspection System SI 009-04 is required. Solicitation area is restricted to the East Coast; Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) is required.
