these items and the model listed is a Motorola model number. In
addition to items listed above, there is a line item for training, 1
Job: (22) The contractor shall provide instruction in the basic
operation of Astro Saber 1 LMR radios, of all DES equipment, and
operation of LMR_s in vehicles using adapters and 40 watt RF
amplifiers. Instruction shall include software necessary to operate
these components of the LMR system. The contractor shall provide
instruction on the configuration of Astro Saber I LMR radios, of all
DES encryption equipment, and RF amplifiers/vehicle adapters to meet
new mission requirements. Specifically to set up new networks and
assign different frequencies when deploying to new locations.
Instruction shall include use of software packages to configure the LMR
system. Training will include installation of all vehicle adapters,
miscellaneous hardware, 40-watt RF amplifiers, and roof-mounted mobile
antennas. Instruction shall include how to diagnose and correct
malfunctions of the LMR system and it_s various components. The
instruction shall also include warranty repair procedures. The training
must be available by 31 Aug 99. Customer will schedule specific dates
of training with the vendor based on mission requirements and personnel
availability. All items are for delivery to Holloman AFB, NM. The
training will also be conducted at Holloman AFB, NM. This is a _Brand
