The 26 structures are to receive the prototype corrective design solution. The corrective measures include the following work: 1. Removal of lighting projection Air Terminal Connector cables where they exist (by Base personnel). 2. Removal of dirt on top of and at long sides of the structure (dirt at rear to remain). 3. Air cleaning of concrete. 4. Installation of water stops at joints. 5. Sealing penetrations. 6. Touch up painting of electrical conduit prior to sealing around conduits. 7. Installation of water proofing membrane. 8. Reinstall dirt fill. 9. Compact dirt fill. 10. Reconnect and test lighting protection system by base personnel. 11. Install erosion control matting, seeding, and sodding. 12. Install new French drains on long sides of structure and new trench drains at front of structure. 13. Regrade at apron and front of structure to allow water to drain to adjacent field between igloo structures. B. Contractor to perform prototypical corrective measures to one Igloo prior to proceeding with the remaining structures. Prototype igloo to be repaired to establish standard of performance on project. The established standard of performance is to be applied to other igloos. After first igloo, subsequent phases will include four igloos at a time until all 26 are completed. The anticipated issue date for this project is 1 July 1999 and the anticipated closing date is 30 July 1999. The performance time for this project is 365 calendar day, which includes 30 calendar days to start. The Standard Industry Code for the project is 1542. The small business size standard is a concern, including all of its affiliates, having an average amount of sales or receipts for the preceeding three fiscal years not in excess of $17,000,000. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The acquisition procedure used for this project will be full and open competition.
