The United States Agency for Intenational Development (USAID), through its Global Economic Growth and Agricultural Development Center (G/EGAD), is hosting two public meetings to solicit suggestions and feedback on a proposal to establish a worldwide initiative, based on a university-led alliance of research and agribusiness groups interested in assisting agribusiness in USAID client countries to expand domestic, regional and global processing and markeing of food and agricultural products. Interested universities, agribusiness companies or others concerned with international development and agribusiness should feel free to request, via E-mail, a copy of the Partnerships for Food Industry Development (PFID) Concept Paper for review prior to the scheduled meetings. No phone, fax or U.S. mail request will be honored.
