updates at the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, NY. The EMCS was
originally installed by Williams Electric Co of Fort Walton Beach,
Florida. The field equipment is located in 55 other buildings at West
Point. The point breakdown for the EMCS system is 1935 Digital Inputs,
1214 Digital Outputs, 3012 Analog Inputs and 1760 Analog Outputs.
Service includes providing all necessary preventive and unscheduled
maintenance and repairs to keep the EMCS operating properly.The
following describes the system and equipment to be serviced under the
contract: One (1) workstation, 300MHz pentium, 32MB memory, 1.44 MB &
a.2 MB floppy disk drive, 1GB hard drive, 2 GB tape backup, mouse,
Sunsoft Unix operating system; three (3) work stations, 120MHz pentium,
16MB memory, 1.44 MB & a.2 MB floppy disk drive, 1 GB hard drive, 2 GB
tape backup, 16 serial port interface, network card, mouse, Sunsoft
Unix operating system; three (3) twenty (20) inch color monitors, one
(1) dot matrix alarm printer, one (1)laser report printer,
theirty-seven (37) WEC Model 3216 Field Interface Device, one hundred
fourteen (114) WEC Model 3310 Multiplexor (MUX) panels, twelve (12) WEC
Model 3218 Remote Control unit (RCU), sixty-two (62) WEC Model 3318
Auxiliary Control Unit (ACU), three thousand one hundred forty-nine
(3149) Digital Inputs and Outputs, four thousand seven hundred
seventy-two (4772) analog inputs and outputs, three hundred fifty-nine
(359) ASIC VAV controls, System, operating and FID software. The fiber
optic cable, associated conduits and communication network components
of the Data Transmission Media (DTM) interconnecting the Central
Computers to the FIDS and RCUS, the FIDS to the MUXES, and the RCUS to
the ACUS is included in the contract. Maintenance and repair of all
fiber optic modems and connections is included under this contract. The
PPM is 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, 365 days per year. Response time is 4 hours
for urgent service calls. The anticipated contract will be for one
base year and four option year periods. The award will be made to the
offeror whose offer represents the best value to the Government on the
basis of (1)the offeror's capability and price. All responses from
