mapping, and hydrographic surveying under PL 92.582 (Brooks Act) and
FAR Part 36 are required for various projects valued at less than
$25,000 each. Projects will be within the midwest and primarily within
the St. Paul District boundaries of all or portions of MN, WI, ND, SD,
and IA. All SF254 submissions will be kept on file for potential
selections for survey work under $25,000. The small projects
anticipated by this request will not be advertised in the Commerce
Business Daily. The District currently has and may award in the future
indefinite delivery contracts to perform work that may also be
encompassed by this request for resumes. The wages and benefits of
service employees (see FAR 22.10) performing under anticipated
contracts must be at least equal to those determined by the Department
of Labor under the Service Contract Act. 1. PROJECT INFORMATION: The
services to be accomplished include the full range of surveying and
mapping activities. Work shall includeglobal positioning system and
conventional surveys. Use of the metric system of measurement may be
required for some projects. 3. SELECTION CRITERIA: This announcement is
restricted to only small businesses. Small business size standard is
less than $2.5M in annual receipts. The following factors will be
considered in deciding which contractor will be selected to negotiate
a proposed project: Experience, qualifications, capacity to perform the
work in the required time, past performance, knowledge of the locality
of the project, location of the firm, and amount of Department of
Defense work in the past 12 months. 4. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
Interested firms having the capacity to perform this work are requested
to submit three copies of SF 254 (11/92 edition) to the above address
not later than 30 June 1999. All submissions will be kept on file for
potential selections for survey work under $25,000. This is not a
request for proposal (RFP). Solicitation packages are not provided for
