This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Based on unique capabilities that PQE has developed in performing in this field, they are the only organization which can perform the complex work that is required for this proposed acquisition. Unique medical education models that PQE has developed under other funding arrangements and its collaborative partnerships with 66 medical education institutions make PQE the only organization that has the capability to implement and carry out the proposed project. The purpose of the contract is to develop, implement, and evaluate a faculty development program for faculty of the Undergraduate Medical Education for the 21st Century and Partnerships for Quality Education projects centering on three content areas of managing patient care.
