Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking an outpatient provider for
assessment and counseling services for substance abuse treatment of
male and female offenders held under various United States statutes in
Charleston, West Virginia. A Firm-Fixed-Price-Requirements type
contract is anticipated. The base period for services will be October
1, 1999 through September 30, 2000 with four option year renewals
periods of one year duration beginning on October 1 of each subsequent
year. Services are required for an estimated 20 inmates per year. The
following services are required for each inmate per year: 1 intake
assessment, 24 half hour individual counseling sessions and 48 half
hour group counseling sessions. All services shall be performed under
the Federal Bureau of Prisons State of Work entitled, "Transitional
Drug Abuse Treatment(TDAT) (non-residential)Substance Abuse Treatment",
dated May 1999. The estimated issuance date for the Request for
Proposals(RFP) is July 1, 1999. The estimated closing date for the RFP
is August 2, 1999. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which
