This synopsis is FOR INFORMATION ONLY. No solicitation will be issued. The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) intends to conduct a limited competition between Arsenal and Electronic Instruments Works, Tenzor. The contractor shall produce and deliver 146 sets (1 km each) of physical barrier fence (engineering barbed wire fence) and associated ancillary components. This effort is tied to an agreement between the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and the Russian Ministry of Defense (RFMOD) to provide assistance with the acquisition of certain physical security systems/equipment and ancillary materials to improve the security of selected nuclear weapons storage facilities in Russia. This requirement must be performed by an organization whose products have been certified by RFMOD.
