Z -- REPAIR/REPLACEMENT AND INSTALLATION OF PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT AT ARMY INSTALLATIONS DUE 060999 POC Denise Mellinger (410) 962-3471 Z -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District is currently seeking sources interested in the repair/upgrade and installation of playgrounds at 25 Army installations and Family Housing areas in the following states: Maryland, Virginia, New York, New Jersey, Kentucky, Michigan, Illinois, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Iowa, Alabama, Tennessee, Arkansas, California, Nevada, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas. The work includes approximately 200 playgrounds and entails repair of existing equipment, demolition and removal of old equipment, site preparation, installation of new equipment, preparation of surfaces around equipment and landscaping. Playground installation will be in accordance with the Handbook for Public Playground Safety, US Consumer Product Safety Commission and ADA standard for playgrounds. The work would be accomplished under an Indefinity Quantity/Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) contract and would span a 3-5 year period and would entail $1-3 million dollars. This is not a request for proposals. The U.S. Army Corps is interested in determining if there are contractors interested in the work as a whole rather than regional parts only.
