The following additional information is provided: (1) This is the first attempt to contract out the DAHSUM; (2) The primary documentation for the DAHSUM is collected and readily available. The material was collected by indiciduals who have written DAHSUMs before, so there is generally enough material to provide the contractor with the subject matter for each DAHSUM chapter. The material on hand will be adequate for any reasonable historian to write a DAHSUM; (3) The Final Revised Draft will be staffed electronically to various Department of the Army (DA) points of contact (POCs) through the electronic network (not the actual CMH network). The contractor will be provided a list of names and their electronic addresses for the staffing; (4) no Government fur- nished property (i.e. office space) will be provided. Therefore, the awardee must have an e-mail account capable of sending large attachments. The contrac- tor shall work at home/other office. All primary material will be provided and the contractor may use material at home/office. Occasional visits may be necessary to the Center of Military History (CMH), or the Pentagon; (5) All raw data will be provided.
