This contract is for one Flexi-Mode DA System including VIS and NIR sensors, Pentium PC, Grams 32/PLSIQ Win 95 and Perten Simplicity Software. This equipment shall be comparable with existing SKCS-4100 equipment for additional research to facilitate transfer of calibratrions and experimental techniques. Perten's equipment is covered under three patents currently. This research requires use of a spectrometer with a chopped light source, the ability to collect 30 spectra per second, and that measures absorption over the wave length range of 400 -- 1700nm.
