The Department of Veterans Affairs, Austin Automation Center, (VAAAC) Austin, Texas, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Security Technologies Group (STG, 11500 Metric Blvd., Ste. 460, Austin, Texas, 78758, to provide security system installation and testing augmentation services. The scope includes the expansion of the existing security system which includes installing additional devices as well as programming changes to the existing software to enable the new devices to be located at the VAAAC. The contractor was the original installer of the existing equipment and expansion of the new devices/services shall not void the existing warranty. Any vendor responding to this request shall; 1) be a certified 3rd party provider of security devices, and, 2) be able to provide related services without voiding the existing warranty to the Federal Government. All responses from responsible sources will be considered. Responses must include sufficient documentation to allow this office to evaluate the possibility of your firm to submit a valid proposal. The determination to open competition based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published.
