This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. FS-WOC-99-35 is being issued by the USDA Forest Service as a request for quotations. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11. This solicitation is 100% set aside for small business concerns; SIC 5032. A firm is considered small it it has less than 100 employees. This project is to furnish, haul and truck spread crushed aggregate and deliver and place barrier rock on designated roads. All crushed aggregate furnished shall meet Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, Section 1007, Aggreage for Base, Subsection 1007.1 -- Type 1 Aggregate. Estimated quantity 2,400 yards of 1" base and1,400 yards of barrier rock, minimum diameter 3 feet. Contract time shall be 60 calendar days. The provisions at: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeror -- Commercial Items; 52.212-4 -- Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items; and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes for Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition.
