Defense Industrial Supply Center (DISC), Philadelphia, PA. As of July 1, 1999 DSCP (G&I) will be employing the DLA Procurement Gateway and, until sometime later in 1999, its Electronic Bulletin Board (EBB) as the sole means of processing its procurement actions under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) that are not restricted to the 8(a) Program, National Institutes for the Blind or Severely Handicapped (NIB/NISH) or Federal Prison Industries (FPI) or covered by other electronic methods. This means that for those actions, the solicitations, specifications/drawings, and awards will only be available electronically and will not be available in hardcopy format. The Procurement Gateway allows ease of access to solicitations, specifications/drawings, and awards stored in digital format, offers flexible search options, on-line profile building, a collective download feature, and more.
