The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Microsoft Corporation to renew Microsoft Premier Support Services. Services include unlimited telephone support on any Microsoft product, operating system and application; access to special product information bulletins, service pack and hotfix notification; troubleshooting tools and guides; a designated support team; real-time telephone assistance 24 hours 7 days a week; supportability reviews and consulting; multi-vendor coordination; and critical problem alerts. Services are to be provided for the period of 1 year beginning July 1, 1999. This requirement will be procured using FAR Parts 12 and 13 procedures, including all applicable clauses and provisions. All interested parties must submit a technical proposal that demonstrates capability to provide support services equivalent to the Microsoft Premier Support Services to include cost, within 15 days after date of this publication.
