58 -- COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT POC Lisa Taylor, Contract Specialist, (202) 307-7820 The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has a contract with NS Microwave, Inc. of Sunnyvale, California for the DEA's Microwave Automated Repeater System (MARS). This contract is an five year (base period plus four 1 year options) indefinite delivery requirements type contract. Currently this system operates solely in an office environment. The Government intends to issue a change order to this contract to create a mobile version of this system. The mobile system will be identical in operation to the existing MARS and share all major hardware modules for interoperability and inventory control purposes. The mobile MARS systems will be installed on government seized and contractor provided equipment. Therefore there will be a cost reimbursement element to this contract.
