Furnish all labor material and equipment necessary to repair/replace floating docks and gangways at Coast Guard Station Depoe Bay, Newport, OR The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Interior Floating Dock. A) Remove existing pile guides. B) Replace existing pile guides using a "wrap-around" guide with roller bearings. C) Remove existing gangway and attached utility conduit. D) Raise the gangway shore-side attachment 0.5 ft and provide a new gangway with a reduced profile so the dock will not touch the bottom of the gangway during high tides and surges. New gangway will have a ramp on a segmented UHMV roller. E) Remove existing gangway guide on dock. F) Install new gangway guide on dock, consisting of two galvanized steel angles. G) Install gangway ramps in order to provide a smooth transition between shore and gangway and gangway and dock.H) Install extra floatation underneath southwest corner of dock. I) Remove existing wooden pile bracing and replace. J) Remove existing cathodic protection and replace. K) Replace existing air and water services on the gangway with retractable hose reels.
