commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart
12.6,as supplemented with additional information included in this
notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals
are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation # 672-100-99 is issued as a Request for Quotation. The
solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those
in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-09. Standard
Industrialization Code (SIC) of 3585 is applied. This solicitation is
issued on an unrestricted basis for the following equipment Brand Name
or Equal. Line Item 0001: Quantity: 2 EA; Item description is: Air
Cooled Reciprocating Liquid Chiller. Carrier, Model 30GT090-6, 480
volt, 3 pH, 60 HZ, Capacity 88.2 Ton, Copper Tubes/Aluminum Fins Coil,
Semi-Hermetic Compressor with Crankcase Heaters, Phase Failure
Protection, Oil Pressure Switch, Compressors Mounted on Spring
Vibration Isolators, Across-the-Line Start, High and Low Pressure
Protection, Automatic Pump out, Suction and Discharge Shutoff Valves,
Electronic Expansion Valves, Unit Mounted Control Panel, Microprocessor
Control, Hinged Access Panel, Circuit Breakers, Capacity Controller,
115v Control Voltage(Must be Field Supplied from a separate Power
Source), Factory Run Test, Start-Up Supervision, Warranty on Parts and
Compressor should be stated, Two each manuals (Operations, Service,
Parts, Schematics). Required delivery is 45 days after contract is
award with inspection and acceptance and FOB point at destination.
Delivery will be to the VA Medical Center, 10 Calle Casia, San Juan,
Puerto Rico 00921-3201 between 7:30AM and 3:30PM). Bidders shall
provide the following information: destination pricing, delivery time,
and payment terms. Cage Code, Duns/Bradstreet number and Taxpayers
I.D. number (TIN). FAR 52.252-1, Solicitation Provisions Incorporated
by Reference (FEB 1998). This solicitation incorporates one or more
solicitation provisionsby reference, with the same force and effect as
if they were given in full text. Upon request, the Contracting Officer

New Materials. Offerors shall provide an express warranty which at a
minimum shall be the same warranty terms, including offers of extended
warranties offered to the general public. Express warranties shall be
