The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA, intends to contract for the manufacture of 18 each Narrowband Modules, p/n 1222421-204, Cage Code 56232, NSN: 5998-01-397-8290. Formation, Inc., is the only known source of supply for this item. The item will be manufactured and delivered to the National Weather Service, National Reconditioning Center, Kansas City, Missouri. The intended procurement is for supplies for which the Government intends to acquire from one manufacturer under the authority of 41USC253(c)(1). The Government knows of only one source authorized to provide the item identified. This is not a request for proposals and there is no solicitation available at this time. This acquisition is being conducted pursuant to the guidelines set forth in FAR part 13. The Government reserves the right to solicit bids on receipt of affirmative responses to this notice or issue an order to Formation, Inc., whichever is determined to be more advantageous to the Government without further notice. All interested parties must respond to this notice within 15 calendar days of this announcement. Requests received after this date will not be considered.
