The United States Information Agency (USIA), International Broadcasting Bureau (IBB), has a requirement for a contractor to construct a reinforced concrete knee-wall around the operations area of the IBB Transmitting Station located in Iranawila, Sri Lanka. The knee-wall will be approximately 706 meters in length and stands approximately 1 meter. The duration for construction is 12 weeks. The magnitude of this effort is estimated to cost between $250,000 and $500,000. Qualified offerors may request a copy of the forthcoming solicitation by submitting a written request to the IBB Station Manager, Mr. Neal Crenshaw either by mail to: IBB Relay Station Iranawila, Sri Lanka, or by facsimile at 94 -- 32 -- 54580 by close of business (5 p.m. local time), Friday, June 4, 1999.
