(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The purchase card (VISA) may be used for procurement and payment under this contract. (ii) 7-99-R20. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-10. (iv) Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3498; the small business size standard is 500 employees. This is a 100% small business set aside. (v & vi) Item 1) Upper Big Log -- corrugated steel pipe arch -- 1 each, 2050mm x 1500mm, thickness -- 2.01mm, corrugations -- 75mm x 25mm, length -- 22m, 600mm dimpled band with neopreme gasket, step bevel both ends at 1 1/2:1, 2 lifting eyes per section, bolted flange connection with gasket, fabricated galvanized fish baffles installed. Item 2) Lower Big Log -- steel structural plate arch -- 1 each, 2700mm span x 1400mm rise, thickness -- 2.77mm, corrugations -- 150mm x 50mm, length -- 21.5m, step bevel both ends at 1 1/2:1, with base channel and assembly hardware. Item 3) Cartwright -- steel structural plate arch -- 1 each, 2400mm span x 1270mm rise, thickness -- 2.77mm, corrugations -- 150mm x 50mm, length -- 23.8m, step bevel both ends at 1 1/2:1, with base channel and assembly hardware. (vii) Items 1-4 to be delivered between July 6 and July 16, 1999 to job sites, approximately 46 km northwest of Prineville, OR. Item 5 to be delivered between July 6 and July 16, 1999 to Lamonta Warehouse, 1175 N Lamonta Rd., Prineville, OR 97754. Vicinity maps to be provided at time of award of contract. Specific date of delivery shall be coordinated with the COR to ensure equipment is available to offload material. Offloading will be by others. Inspection and acceptance will be made by Government at the place of delivery. Items 1 & 5 -- Government may inspect at plant prior to shipment. FOB points will be the delivery locations.
